In a joint tender, HOFOR A/S and Novafos A/S tender Kagsåparken's rainwater project. A main contract is offered on AB18 terms with changes and clarifications to one contractor. The scope of the contract will form the basis for improved water quality in Kagsåen and improve the area's handling of future cloudburst events.

In order to improve the water quality in Kagsåen and to prepare catchments in Gladsaxe and Herlev Municipality for future stronger cloudburst events, Kagsåparken will establish approx. 2 km of basin pipeline for handling common overflow water as well as a total of approx. 84,000 m3 of delay volume in open rainwater basins such as both depressions and wet rainwater basins (purification basins) with permanent water table.

The tendered project also includes pipeline works (especially water and sewer), a pumping station, overflow structures, soil handling, establishment of construction pits in sheet piling, groundwater lowering incl. re-infiltration and monitoring and tunnelling work, etc.

The project also includes the following design services from the contractor:

• Design of installation and forging works, as specified in SAB 19 – Installation and forging

• Design of interim measures for the establishment of press and reception pits for tunnelling under Motorring 3 (M3) and Herlev Ringvej excl. reception pit at Maj Allé, as described in SAB 4 – Foundation

• Design of supports for pipe excavations and construction pits in addition to what has been designed by the client, as described in SAB 4 – Foundation

• Design of press pressure and front stability in connection with tunnelling under Motorring 3 (M3) and Herlev Ringvej, as described in SAB 5 – Tunnelling

• Design of longitudinal reinforcement in the tunnel tubes in the underpasses under Motorring 3 (M3) and Herlev Ringvej, as described in SAB 5 – Tunnelling

• Design of the element assemblies in box elements and design of lifting yokes for handling and assembly of the box elements, as described in SAB 18 – Concrete works

• Design of work paths, as described in SAB 2 Workplace

• Design of wooden bridges and foundations, as described in SAB 4 Foundation and SAB 17 Furniture

• Design of interim measures for maintenance of existing drainage system in connection with switchovers as described SAB 7 – Wiring works

• Preparation of final traffic flow plans
