OUS will procure 2 and have the option to procure 1 (similar to operation 2) single door steam sterilisers (approx. 2 sterilisation devices) for sterilisation of invasive medical equipment, i.a. surgical instruments, thermostable endoscopic equipment, anaesthesia equipment and sterilisation of breast implants. Steam sterilisers must have steam generators and a water purification system for steam production. Factory testing documentation must be in place and be approved by OUS before delivery. The number of cycles is anticipated to be approx. 3-4 per day per autoclave/240 working days per year.

The steam steriliser delivered must be able to be transported into the named sterilisation room without building intervention (structural works). OUS will not perform any alteration of doors/transport routes in the corridors to get the sterilisers into the sterilisation room, due to patient activity.
