To provide road transport services for the carriage of mail consignments to and from offices of exchange, on specified transport links and with specified timings, on a network designed by IPC and connecting offices of exchange in Brussels, Copenhagen Frankfurt, Offenburg, Niederaula, Hall in Tirol, Milan, London, Luxembourg (hub), Paris, Lyon, The Hague and Zurich (hub). The network is designed to achieve the fastest and most efficient exchange of mail consignments by road. The on-time performance of the transport services shall be monitored by IPC.
Lot 1 (loose loaded mail) with specified transport links between several offices of exchange and specified timings to be operated with a frequency that varies from 5 to 6 days per week. Most links in lot 1 involve a transshipment between vehicles to be done in the Sprinter HUBs located in Luxembourg and Zurich.
Lot 2 (Loose loaded mail + pallet boxes) with specified transport links from one or more offices of exchange to one or more offices of exchange, and specified timings to be operated with a frequency that varies from 5 to 6 days per week. Links in lot 2 do not involve a transshipment between vehicles, and most mail to be carried is consolidated in pallet boxes.
