We ask for your offer for harvester and other products and services as specified in the request for quotation. The harvester is intended as a learning environment for forest machine operator students.
The harvester to be purchased must be new, model year 2023. The harvester must have Finnish-language harvesting programs and control systems installed in accordance with the requirements. The harvester must be equipped in accordance with the technical specification specified in the invitation to tender.
We train forest machine operators primarily for northern Finland. Harvester driver training includes working at a logging site in the manufacture of mechanized timber. In addition, the studies of a forest machine operator include maintenance and repair work, in which the student takes care of the procurement of maintenance and spare parts as student work as part of preparing for working life.
We require the availability of maintenance, spare parts and technical support in the Rovaniemi area as required by the contract model.
As part of the procurement, the tenderer must undertake to replace the John Deere 1070E harvester. The harvester used as a trade-in machine and the possibility to familiarise yourself with the trade-in machine are described in the section "Trade-in machine" of the invitation to tender.
The quotation price of the harvester (excluding VAT) minus the amount that the tenderer undertakes to refund for the John Deere 1070E harvester as a trade-in machine must not exceed EUR 330,000 (VAT 0%).
The estimated value of the procurement is 330,000 € (VAT 0%). For the avoidance of doubt, the estimated value refers to an estimate of the maximum value of the new harvester to be procured.
