The Ministry, together with the main organisations in working life, has started work on the rules for working at home and has concluded that there is a need for a major mapping in order to examine the extent, development characteristics, and consequences of home office use and other remote work for employees and entities in Norwegian working life.

The mapping will be split into two parts:

(a) An extent survey in order to map the extent of home offices and other remote work, and central characteristics of the current situation;

(b) A more comprehensive part where we would like to map the development of the extent in the coming years, as well as reviewing a greater breadth of relevant topics and problems.

The contract will be valid from when it is signed until the submission of the final report on 15 March 2022. The total contract value is up to NOK 3.9 million, excluding VAT.
