The University Hospital of North Norway (UNN), henceforth referred to as the Contracting Authority invites tenderers to a tender contest for the construction of a new access tunnel to Furumoen in Narvik where the new UNN shall be completed by 2023.

The development of the concept for the New UNN was subject to an evaluation of several site alternatives. The location of the selected site makes it impossible to ensure good access and an emergency road by using the current infrastructure. The concept therefore includes the establishment of an access road in tunnel from E6 at Orneshaugen to the east side of the site at Furumoen The preliminary length of the tunnel is approx. 580 m and the tunnel shall be constructed in accordance with the local road standard for the prevailing handbook N500 for tunnels T9,5. The project shall be implemented in the period 2018-2019 and will to some degree includes works with replacement of masses and the stabilisation of the construction site.
