AWIGO Abfallwirtschaft Landkreis Osnabrück GmbH is a subsidiary of the Osnabrück district. AWIGO is tasked with the tasks of waste management in the district. In order to fulfil this task, it is writing out the delivery of a waste collection vehicle.

To avoid interface difficulties, the vehicle is tendered as a complete system; i.e. the contractor must deliver a fully operational vehicle consisting of chassis, body and bulk.

Repairs and maintenance should be taken over by the contractor during the warranty and warranty period. Bidders must include the relevant standard maintenance contracts (samples) for the building/bulk and chassis with the tender; however, the contracts are not relevant to valuation. The client reserves the right to conclude the corresponding contracts or not. AWIGO Service GmbH, another indirect subsidiary of the Osnabrück district, may need to be integrated, which carries out vehicle maintenance for the client after the warranty and warranty period has expired (in exceptional cases, also maintenance during the warranty and warranty period, provided that AWIGO Service GmbH has the necessary qualifications).

Since the fleet currently consists exclusively of chassis from the manufacturer Mercedes-Benz, the workshop is focused exclusively on this type of vehicle in terms of employee training, diagnostic equipment and spare parts storage. If a chassis from another manufacturer is offered, the additional costs for the diagnostic equipment and the conversion or expansion of the workshop as well as the training requirements are taken into account in the offer price. Bidders must provide information about the costs on the price sheet and provide the appropriate equipment in case of order.
