As part of an open procedure in accordance with § 15 of the Ordinance on the Award of Public Contracts (Vergabeverordnung - VgV), the city of Erkelenz is inviting tenders for the delivery of brand-new tablets (iPads) for the schools of the city of Erkelenz.

Minimum quantity and maximum quantity

In each case, the estimated scope (900 pieces) is stated in the service description. The actual demand may also be higher or lower or the client reserves the right to reduce or increase the quantities within the framework of the available budgetary resources. Within the limits of the available funds, a minimum quantity of 900 pieces is assured. The maximum limit is set at 950 pieces.

The characteristics mentioned in the service description serve as minimum requirements, which are considered sufficient. Of course, better configurations can be offered. Failure to meet the minimum requirements, such as missing or insufficient number of connections or other features, will inevitably lead to exclusion. The tablets are to be integrated into a specific Mobile Device Management System (MDM) based on the existing inventory, this system is only compatible with the iOS operating system. As a result, only Apple devices can be used. Furthermore, it is therefore a condition that the devices have already been registered by the seller in the Device Enrollment Program (DEP).
