With this invitation to tender, the contracting entity wishes to purchase elevator services, including statutory inspections, fall tests, alarm monitoring, calls, repairs and service for the elevators available to the university during the contract period.

The purpose of the tender is to ensure safe operation of the university's elevators, and that this is done at attractive purchasing conditions. In this connection, a distinction is made between the services which the contracting entity is obliged to perform (statutory inspection) and the other services related to the operation of the lifts and for which the contracting entity does not know the exact need for the services. As part of this, the contracting entity has based itself on an estimated consumption during the contract period, which for the contracting entity is not binding, but which forms the basis for the framework and terms of the tender.
