75634 OUS KLM MIK real-time PCR (Tuberculosis diagnostics) new announcement

A procurement of equipment for automatic detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) DNA will be made. The system must be fully automated from sample loading to finalised results.

OUS currently performs TB diagnostics at the Ullevål and Rikshospitalet locations. From 2027, these will be co-located in the Life Sciences building.

A total of 6,000-7,000 PCR tests for TB are currently performed.

NB:

Due to the holiday period, enquiries and questions in Mercell will be answered from week 32 onwards.
