The Regiobahn GmbH plans to extend the S-Bahn line S28 east to Wuppertal Hbf. In this context, the Regiobahn writes the construction of a ZOB and a P + R facility west of the node B7n / L422 (new stop Hahnenfurth-Düssel) and other measures (Traffic safety / dismantling of the bus stops / amphibious protection).

Lot 1: P + R plant / ZOB The tendering procedure in lot 1 involves construction works to construct a ZOB and a P + R plant to be constructed west of node B7n / L422 to link traffic (new Hahnenfurth-Düssel station ). The construction site is located in the city of Wuppertal on the western outskirts in the district Dornap. The B7n is run under the street name Düsseldorfer Straße, the L422 under the street name Dornaper Street. The system is divided into an inner and an outer ring. The access is only from the eastern access, so that the passengers of the buses can get off directly on the side facing the platform. A crossing of the bus lane is not required for the transition to the platform. The bus lane is 6.50 m wide, the 4 parking spaces are 7 m apart and thus offer the possibility of a separate exit. Independent delivery of the individual bus stops when there is a bus in front of them is not possible. The arrangement is based on the predefined by the railway line embankment. Conceptually, 2 x 2 bus stops per direction are provided. Each direction serves a weather shelter the passengers as a covered area. The individual bus stops are connected via a blind guidance system to the platform. Bicycle parking spaces (6 easy chairs) and 6-person bicycle boxes are planned south of the ramp to the platform. Towards the east, a footpath runs along the edge of the slope and joins the L422 immediately south of the SÜ. The P + R system is located inside the system. There are 11 parking spaces in the upper row, 14 pitches in the middle and 16 in the lower row. The western part of the P + R facility has 2 rows of elevators. The parking depth is 4.60 m. In the upper row, on the left, there are 2 taxi ranks in a parallel position to the traffic lane. To the east of this, there are 2 disabled parking spaces with a width of 3.50 m and 5 parking spaces with a width of 2.50 m. The lower row offers 17 parking spaces. There is a total of 77 pitches plus 2 places for handicapped people. At the western end of the P + R facility, the transition to the bus platform and thus to the platform is planned

The subject of the award procedure in lot 2 are the following works:

- Construction of an amphibious protection facility along the B7 over a length of approx. 800 m (amphibious guiding device),

- marking work at node B7n / L422 (new stop Hahnenfurth-Düssel),

- Dismantling of 2 bus stops east of node B7n / L422 after completion and commissioning of the ZOB described in lot 1 The construction site is located in the city of Wuppertal on the western edge of the city in the district of Dornap. The B7n is run under the street name Düsseldorfer Straße, the L422 under the street name Dornaper Street.
