The city of Münster intends to relocate the Bürgerbad Handorf gGmbH on a volunteer-operated indoor swimming pool in the district of Handorf (Bürgerbad Handorf).

The bath essentially consists of a sports pool measuring 25 mx 10 m, water depth 1.35 m-2 m, a teaching pool 10 mx 8 m, water depth 0.60 m-1.35 m, a toddler pool approx. 10 mx 2 , 5 m at a max. Water depth of about 25 cm and an outdoor pool 10 mx 8 m, water depth 0.60 m-1.35 m. In addition to the pools, the building has the foyer, administration, changing rooms, showers and necessary ancillary rooms. In the basement, the technically necessary technology and the workshop should be accommodated. The building is to be built in massive construction. The façade is to be designed as a clinker for the entrance area and as a cassette facade (trapezoidal sheet metal) for the hall area.

The object of the procurement is the detailed planning and construction of the bath incl. All furnishings and the associated outdoor facilities by a general contractor. The client will not be the city of Münster, but Bürgerbad Handorf gGmbH. However, the new building will be erected on an urban plot and also subsidized substantially by funds from the city of Münster.
