The competition aims to implement the "Coastal Strip Monitoring Program of Mainland Portugal -COSMO 2.0". The tasks inherent to the physical implementation of the program presupposes an operational and systematic character on the coast of Mainland Portugal, based on the collection, processing and analysis of data and diagnostic indicators of the state of the coastal strip limited by beach-dune and beach-arriba systems.
