The objective of the tender contest is to enter into framework agreements for the delivery of books and media to primary and secondary schools in the municipalities, in accordance with the requirements given in the tender documentation.

The agreements are valid from 1.5.2022 until 30.4.20224. Option for extending the agreements for one plus one year for contracting authority.

The agreements applies to the delivery of book groups listed in the Book Agreement; consequently, these must be offered. Local curriculum governs the book selection. The product range and services offered must be broad and deep enough to cover the contracting authority's need for books and teaching aids, including associated digital teaching aids during the agreement period.

The tenderer shall offer standardised books and teaching aids with good quality and long life from reputable publishers / manufacturers. The quality must contribute to low total costs in the lifetime of products and be suitable for the purpose (use in primary schools). The products must be labelled in accordance with current regulations.

 The estimated total of the framework agreements is approx. NOK 3 million / annum for all municipalities. The values are indicative and include any VAT. The stated scope is estimated based on turnover in the recent years from the current supplier. The values do not represent any obligations for the municipalities or rights for the tenderer.
