The district of Recklinghausen plans the renovation of the district house with regard to fire protection, building services, the renewal of the façade and the redesign of the outdoor facilities in 4 construction phases.

Special features in the workflow:
Before the start of the expansion work, a pollutant remediation and various demolition work were carried out and completed. This includes the removal and disposal of polluted components and the subsequent clearance measurement of the areas (asbestos, CMF).
In addition, finishing elements (plasterboard walls and ceilings, tiles and screed areas, etc.) and the TGA pipes to be dismantled will be removed and disposed of in accordance with demolition planning.
The façade (metal/glass façade, clinker, maintenance balconies) and the flat roof waterproofing will also be dismantled.
It is, therefore, essentially a pre-service
gutting of these areas.
In this respect, the contractor who brings in new screeds will mainly find exposed ceilings or floor slabs. Under certain circumstances, certain rework may be necessary, which is described and offered in the following titles and items.
Due to the formation of construction phases,
for the 2nd construction phase GK fire protection walls; In order not to create unnecessary tile joints, it is necessary to end with whole tiles near the transition and to set off the entire floor structure and temporarily replace it with a removable floor structure (shown in the plan laying plan for the public area on the ground floor, hatched).
