The Hannah-Vogt-Straße 10 residential complex in 37085 Göttingen will be operated from 01.09.2022 for a period of 3 years incl. Renewal option of 2 years. The residential complex is a building with 30 furnished residential units for a maximum of 180 residents. The individual accommodation units consist of 3 rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. Each living unit has a washing machine connection and its own washing machine.
The scope of the operation of the residential complex includes:
-temporary accommodation, care and integration of refugees
-active support in the search for accommodation
-operation of the community and administrative areas
(Child care / school work assistance / leisure and educational offers, language courses)
-Acquisition and involvement of volunteers
-Building cleaning
-security service residential complex and property
-Janitorial services
The city of Göttingen has been holding this residential complex for housing refugees since 1.9.2015.
The residential complex is a building with 30 furnished residential units for a maximum of 180 residents. The individual accommodation units consist of 3 rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. Each living unit has a washing machine connection and its own washing machine. A covered laundry drying area is available on the outdoor premises for drying your laundry.
The residential complex contains communal, social and administrative premises with proportional use for the personnel employed by the operator.
There is an emergency telephone system on every floor of the refugee accommodation.
The operator is to accommodate and look after the refugees assigned by the client in the residential complex. The operator exercises domiciliary rights over the residential complex and bears the traffic safety obligation.
The highest value is placed on the quality of care; in particular, the integration of refugees into urban society and neighbourhood should be promoted and supported. It is expected that the conditions for socially acceptable, conflict-free and tolerance-free cooperation will be created, taking into account socio-culturally different living backgrounds.
Refugee accommodation is only temporary and is limited to a maximum of 12 months.
The objectives of temporary accommodation are:
- the integration of residents into the new living environment
- Helping people to help themselves in coping with everyday life
- active and cooperative support and placement in housing on the first housing market
The care service includes in particular:
- Support residents of the institution in managing their everyday lives as well as in all business of daily life, in particular accompanying and supporting them in going to the authorities (immigration office, social administration, employment agency), doctor and pharmacy visits, mediation on therapeutic aids and offers , counselling centres, sports associations, offers of events, vacation and leisure activities, placement of childcare places, when children start school, and support the residents' ability to live
The advice and support has to cover the following additional areas:
-managing social conflict situations,
-clarification of family reunification issues and a possible return to the country of origin,
-Information on behavior in the residential complex, help for becoming independent
The operation of the common and administrative rooms is also taken over. The offers in the common rooms include:
- childcare (not in the sense of kindergarten/crèche), help for schoolwork
- Leisure and educational offers, language courses
Domestic care for residents is not part of the contract.
The tasks also include attracting and integrating volunteer residents.
Further additional services for the operation of the residential complex are to be financed by own funds. The operator participates independently or together with the client in the promotion and acquisition of funding programs that benefit the operation of the residential complex.
The scope of services also includes building cleaning, the security service for the residential complex and property as well as the caretaker service.
The client has the right to demand staff adjustments against reimbursement of additional costs.
The client guarantees the operator at least a daily allowance refund based on a minimum occupancy of 90 people assumed (cost guarantee).
