The subject of the contract are services in the field of forest management in accordance with the definition in Article 6 paragraph 1 point 1 of the Act of 28 September 1991 on forests (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2022, item 672 – "Forest Act") covering works in the field of forest breeding, forest protection, fire protection, nature protection, logging and skidding, tourist maintenance and other forest management works to be performed in the Kościerzyna Forest District in 2023 in the area of Forestry Lubań, Nowa Kiszewa, Wdzydze. The material scope of the contract includes the total quantities of works resulting from Annex 2 to the SWZ. Descriptions of activity codes describing individual forestry works (activities) included in the subject of the contract are described in Annex 3 to the SWZ. The description of the rules of the procedure for acceptance of forestry works is included in Annex 3 to the SWZ.

The subject of the contract are services in the field of forest management, including works in the field of forest breeding, forest protection, fire protection, nature conservation, logging and harvesting, tourist maintenance and other works in the field of forest management. The material scope of the subject of the contract includes the total number of works for the end referred to in the previous task, resulting from Annex 2 to the SWZ, which consists of:

Appendix No. 2.1. – planned size of works;

Appendix No. 2.2. – detailed size of works by groups of activities, activities and location;

Appendix 2.3.1. – characteristics of forestry/logging package;

Appendix No. 2.3.2. – assortment layout of timber harvesting;

Attachment No. 2.3.3. – a list of distances and conditions of harvesting wood;

Appendix No. 2.3.4. – list of items with additional difficulties in the field of harvesting and skidding;

Appendix No. 2.3.5. – list of items not made available for machine acquisition;

Appendix 2.3.6. – information on the optimal possible wood harvesting technology.

Attachment No. 2.4.1. – information on the nature of forest care (zones for mowing weeds);

Attachment No. 2.4.2. – a list of items not available for renewals carried out with the help of a planter;

Appendix No. 2.4.4. – information on the pitting of the delivered seedlings at the planting site (working surface).

The material scopes listed in the annexes included in Annex 2 are estimates. Quality standards relating to all essential features of the subject of the contract are specified in Appendix No. 3 to the SWZ. Descriptions of activity codes describing individual forest works (activities) included in the subject of the contract are described in Appendix No. 3 to the SWZ. A description of the rules for the procedure for commissioning forest works is included in Annex 3 to the SWZ

The Contracting Authority shall require employment by the Contractor or subcontractor on the basis of the contract of employment of persons performing the activities part of the subject of the contract involving the acquisition and retraction of the wood raw material, if the performance of these activities consists in the performance of the work in the manner laid down in Article. 22 § 1 of the Act of 26 June 1974 — Labor Code (text: Journal of Laws of 2020 item 1320 as amended).

The services will consist in the performance of logging and skidding based on two possible technologies:

(a) for harvesting wood and making wood grades of chainsaws and for skidding skidding (tractors, forwarders);

b) with the use for logging and production of wood grades of forestry machines (multi-operational) type harvesters and for skidding skidding (tractors, forwarders).

The contracting authority provides for the possibility of awarding contracts referred to in Article 214(1)(7) of the Public Procurement Law within a period of 3 years from the date of award of the basic contract. The material scope of services constituting the subject of the contracts referred to in the previous sentence will not exceed 50% of the value of this contract.
