The tender is looking for a subcontractor for the Erlanger Stadtwerke Stadtverkehr GmbH (ESTW) who will provide the bus services with its own vehicles on the new minibus line - the so-called "Clinic Line". The clinic line runs in the Erlangen city area and connects the northern old town to the

University clinic locations and the large car park.

As part of this tender, a subcontractor is being sought for ESTW who will provide the bus transport services with its own vehicles on the new minibus line - the so-called "clinic line" - in a trial run. In the city of Erlangen, it is planned to introduce the clinic line at the earliest when the timetable changes in December 2020 on December 13, 2020 or at the earliest possible time, but no later than March 31, 2021, in order to connect the northern old town to the university clinic locations and the large car park to improve.

Employees and visitors to the clinics in particular should benefit from the new clinic line, as there is currently no direct bus connection on this axis. In addition, the retail trade in Erlangen's old town should be better and more conveniently reached from the large car park and the inner city should be relieved of motorized individual traffic. The clinic line's timetable provides a 10-minute cycle and is coordinated with the S-Bahn timetable.
