Kennisnet is looking for a flexible and high-quality service organization for the purchase of hardware for a redundant Education Community Cloud (OCC).

With this tender, Kennisnet aims to achieve the following objectives: Continuing the innovative development of the OCC; Efficient (cost-efficient) exploitation of the OCC; Prepared for the future After purchasing the hardware, the new hardware will be transferred to the current management party Vancis C&MS bv.

The subject of this tender is the conclusion of one (1) Long-term Framework Agreement for intended and future supplies.

The contract will be awarded to the Tenderer, who meets the Minimum Requirements and who has not submitted irregular documents and who has submitted the most economically advantageous tender, whereby the assessment will be based on the best price-quality ratio (Best PKV).

Hardware for a redundant implementation of our Education Community Cloud

As part of a national ICT infrastructure, Kennisnet provides solid and reliable sectoral and above sectoral facilities; With these facilities and standards, Kennisnet is one of the most important parties in the digital infrastructure of Dutch education (PO / VO and MBO) alongside DUO and SURF. The basis of the Kennisnet offering is formed by the Education Community Cloud, hereinafter referred to as OCC. With this fully equipped and managed platform, Kennisnet can serve all IT infrastructure issues, such as housing, hosting, storage, monitoring, security and backup.

Examples of platforms and services that are operated at the OCC include the Entree Federation, Numbering, various theme portals and online tools. In collaboration with various partners, Kennisnet operates the Edurep platform, Wikiwijs, Leraar24, Education Switch Service and Windows for Accountability (schoolsopdekaart.nl).
