Building project:
For the Helmholtz Center Potsdam, German Research Center for Geosciences, a new laboratory building with offices and server room is planned on the listed Telegrafenberg, southeast of Potsdam city center. The gross floor area is approx. 3 850 m 2 , The new building is to be built west of the existing BG building complex in the edge area of the science park. The construction site is located in a partially forested area with increased relief energy. Traffic areas of the internal access and road network border to the north and east. This is, on the one hand, an access to an underground car park in building BG and, on the other hand, a subordinate footpath. The new building should take into account the ensemble protection of the historical existing buildings in the landscaped grounds of the Telegrafenberg. It is a free-standing 5-storey building with a basement.

- Small format wall and floor tiles: approx. 220 m 2 .
- Large format ceramic coverings: approx. 140 m 2 with plinth tile,
- Ceramic coverings on the staircases: approx. 113 pieces of stairs (step and riser) with base tile,
- Clean-out zones: 3 pieces.
