The starting point of the project is a sustainable (almost energy-neutral), ecological school building in an innovative learning environment and with a focus on education of the future 'future classroom'. Consideration is given to the division of the age groups: the youngest pre-schoolers, oldest pre-school and lower secondary school, the oldest primary school children.
The green rural environment also plays an important role at the school, with extra attention to environmental care at school. Lots of greenery and an adventurous playground are the starting points.
Special attention is paid to the vulnerable road user and sufficient parking is provided for the staff.
The seven pillars of the school are included in the construction project:
