The hospital is currently building a new building where several treatment facilities with patient monitoring or hygiene-sensitive areas will find their new locations. It is an operating room with 14 operating theaters and recovery room, 2 intensive care units, 3 intermediate care stations, one weaning unit and chest pain unit. The Central Emergency Room will also move here and the Central Sterile Supply Center (CSSD) will follow below the operating room in this building.

The Central Emergency Room will also move here and the Central Sterile Supply Center (CSSD) will follow below the operating room in this building. As part of the refurbishment of the IMC, Weaning and CPU, the introduction of a patient data management system PDMS is planned. An important component of the system are computers for visualization and documentation of the treatment process in the patient room. Here we opted for all-in-one computers (AIO), which are able to cope with increased hygienic and safety requirements. These computers are suitable for documentation work in designated departments under patient-remote conditions.
