* Geel Hospital acts as a central purchasing body within the meaning of Article 47 §2 and Article 129 of the Law of 17 June 2016 for this assignment.

This means that Geel Hospital will act in the capacity of contracting authorities on behalf of the various contracting authorities for this contract. The central purchasing body shall apply the public procurement procedure in accordance with the instructions and in the name and on behalf of the contracting authorities concerned.

At the end of the procedure, the central purchasing body will award the public contract if consensus has been reached by the contracting authorities. After the award has ended, the contracting authorities themselves must conclude an agreement with the contracting party to whom the public contract was awarded.

The central purchasing body is responsible for the installation and conclusion of the current contract in order to meet its own needs as well as those of other interested parties. (see assignment documents)
