The BoMoMaPS shall provide forward propulsion for the operator during maritime operations that require swimming or diving over some distance. The system will also be used during other maritime operations where assisted propulsion is necessary or beneficial. BoMoMaPS must be mounted on the operator’s body rather than handheld, in order to allow the operator to use his hands freely for other purposes. Body-mounted maritime propulsion system must be designed as a complete system, including power source.
