Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (the ‘Authority’) wishes to establish a contract for the provision of Language Interpretation and Translation and Communication Support Services (the ‘Services’) to support their commitment to equality and the delivery of safe, patient focused care. A key element of this objective is the provision of Translation, Interpretation and Communication support. The contract period is 3 years plus two possible extensions of 1 year (3+1+1). The Authority require the provision of good practice Translation, Interpretation and Communication Support Services for; Face to face (Spoken and Non Spoken Word), Telephone Interpretation and Written Translation solution, the Authority will review the option of awarding the contract as a Complete Translation Solution. The Authority welcome Consortium Bids The Authority considers this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). For the avoidance of doubt, the Authority points out that no weight will be attached to whether or not an economic operator is an SME in appointing economic operators to the contract or in assessing the most economical advantageous tender.
