The contract includes the construction of the section Åsen-Torvet, which is the last part of the upgrading of the county road 808 from Varpen at the crossing E6 to Torvet in Hemnesberget. The length of the section is approx. 1 900 metres, and a road with classification H2 with a width of 6.5 metres and a pavement with a with of 2.5 metres, shall be constructed. In connection with the main section, 850 metres municipal and private roads shall also be constructed.

The contract also includes replacement, upgrading and new establishment of Hemnes municipality's Water and Sewage system The majority of the water/sewage works will be, and are closely connected to the road system. Included in the contract is also some new establishment outside the section where the road works shall be executed.
