The assignment is part of a total project. For this total project, an environmental permit is currently being applied for (December 2018).

Apart from the different tasks per phase, the designer therefore takes a number of overarching tasks into account. No separate fee is charged for this. The designer takes this into account when presenting his quotation and fees. Without being exhaustive, this involves, among other things, the "active" attendance of consultation moments, such as the starting meeting with various actors, coordination moments with secondary designers (of the structural work), consultation with safety coordinator, information meetings to third parties (eg owners or residents) above apartments), etc.

Another aspect is the timing of implementation, which will also have to be embedded within the overall project. This means that the implementation will possibly be spread out over a longer period, with associated costs for monitoring and project management. The designer also takes this into account when preparing his quotation.
