The services are awarded as a framework agreement by means of an open procedure in accordance with the Ordinance on the Award of Public Contracts (Procurement Ordinance - VgV) and include transport services in the exempted school traffic in the Main-Kinzig district. Students are to be transported from the schools in the Main-Kinzig district to sports and swimming pools (swimming pools and gymnasiums) and after physical education back to the starting school. Individual trips are commissioned on the basis of the framework agreement.
The KVG is responsible for transporting students from schools in the Main-Kinzig district to sports and swimming pools (swimming pools and gyms) and after physical education back to the respective starting school ("cross-traffic"). To achieve greater flexibility, the services should be for cross-traffic as a framework agreement according to § 21 VgV. The duration of the framework agreement is limited to 2 school years. As of May 2020, a list of the schools involved and the sports and swimming facilities to be reached is included in the tender documents.
