The states of Baden-Württemberg and the Free State of Saxony operate their public administration service portals at the addresses http://service-bw.de and http://amt24.sachsen.de. The two portals differ in content, but are based on the same portal software and its components. In addition to a large number of information texts on administrative services ("Services"), the respective portal component "Responsibility Finder" contains the contact details of all municipal and state authorities and other organisations of public interest and with administration-related tasks ("authority data"). In the Responsibility Finder, services and authority data are linked to online forms and services in accordance with responsibility and made accessible to the users of the service portal.
Numerous other applications obtain the content of the two state portals via interfaces, such as portals of local governments, the knowledge management of the authority number 115, but above all the portal network/online gateway of the federal and state governments (PVOG) in connection with the implementation of the Online Access Act (OZG). The number of text objects is based on the OZG implementation catalogue and is growing steadily in line with the implementation of the OZG.
