The contract covers the contractual supply of computer hardware (laptops, tablets, workstations, monitors, peripherals) on demand as well as the provision of services in this context such as return, repair, disposal, recycling, warranty service, inventory, software packaging, lifecycle management and staging.

These services are to be obtained primarily for the needs of the approximately 13,000 end users of the cantonal administration. In addition, the KAIO reserves the right to broker the goods and services procured here to other bodies responsible for public tasks in the Canton of Bern, such as municipalities, education or health institutions.
