Description:
Refurbishment and extension BBS Bingen | Negotiation procedure with participation competition according to the VgV for technical planning (technical equipment - electrical services) according to § 55 HOAI

The order includes the services of specialist planning (technical equipment - electrical services) according to § 55 HOAI (LPH 1-9) for the renovation and expansion of BBS Bingen.

The district of Mainz-Bingen plans to renovate and expand the vocational school (BBS) Bingen. The aim is to remediate the load found in various areas after preliminary examinations. The investigations show that the damage in the essential areas can be attributed to the entry of moisture. Water ingress occurs, on the one hand from the outside through the facades in areas in contact with the ground due to a lack of sealing or due to defects in the water drainage and through destroyed sewage channels (ingrowth of roots, defective channels etc.), and on the other hand through condensation of moisture on the inside of the outer walls due to lack of thermal insulation (Dew point problem).

Rodents have entered the facade cavities and destroyed the facade insulation, the drainage channels in the facades are capillary-connected to the mineral wool insulation as a result of rodent infestation. Window drains and window / window profile seals are leaking, due to the lack of thermal separation of the window profiles there is also condensation.

These conditions lead to moisture in facades, the floor areas as well as radiator back coverings etc. When these areas are opened, mold growth is already partially visible.

In the course of the refurbishment, fire-related defects in the building construction must also be remedied. Retrofitting is imperative, which leads to additional costs.

The damage patterns found show that, in contrast to the initial plans, the school building cannot be largely renovated to preserve the components, but largely has to be completely renovated.

The architect already commissioned has developed a concept for this, with which the "one-hip" building fingers located in the west of the building are dismantled and replaced by a "two-hip" finger as a new building.

The soil of the components to be renovated has to be largely excavated for the renovation work, also due to the steep slope of the property.

The total costs for the renovation and expansion of BBS Bingen amount to approx. EUR 18.16 million / net (cost groups 200-700 according to DIN 276). The costs are preliminary and will be specified in the planning. Any changes, possibly also cost reductions, can also influence the room program.

The subject of this call for tenders is the technical planning (technical equipment - electrical) according to § 55 HOAI (LPH 1-9) for system groups 4, 5 and 9 and cost group 550, including other special services.
