Provision of Drain Maintenance Services at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT).

The West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT) invited tenders for the provision of a 24 hour reactive maintenance service and emergency call out facility for foul and surface drainage, sewage and sanitary plant and associated components.

The reactive maintenance services are to be provided at the Trust sites – Watford General Hospital (WGH), St Albans City Hospital (SACH), Hemel Hempstead General Hospital (HHGH) and Jacketts Field Rehabilitation Unit (Abbots Langley – supported out of SACH).

The contract has been awarded for 3 years with an option to extend, up to a further 2 years (not exceeding 5 years in total), subject to satisfactory service and agreement on terms for the extension period.

The successful contractor shall provide an emergency call-out service on a 24/7 basis throughout the year including all bank holidays.
