The construction project involves the new construction of the St. Franziskus day care center in 55413 Weiler near Bingen.

The building plot is located on the northern outskirts of Weiler, in Heilig-Kreuz-Weg opposite the Heilig-Kreuz primary school, on a slope with an increase in terrain in a north-westerly or north-easterly direction. The construction site is accessed and served via the Heilig-Kreuz-Weg, as a public transport route.

The day-care center will be built as a predominantly single-storey, ground-level building; Due to the hillside location, the building in the western area - towards Heilig-Kreuz-Weg - has a basement (axes DH / 2-4), which is accessed internally via a single flight of stairs and a wheelchair-accessible elevator.

The essentially L-shaped floor plan has an edge length of about 75m, west-east and 50m in north-south direction.

The edge length of the basement is approx. 17 x 27 m.

Special feature In the northern part of the building (axes AB / 1-7 there is a cafeteria with its ancillary and staff rooms, which is intended for the care of the daycare children as well as for pupils of the neighboring elementary school as well as for senior citizens.

The kitchen serving area is covered, including the garbage area and pallet storage area.
