Landscape planning overall concept can be built with the neighboring hotel. The open space plan shows the processing limits of the outdoor facilities for hotels (client: Contraco GmbH) and KMS/SVZ (client: Kronberg Academy). As the 5th façade, the roof surfaces of the new buildings form an important design element: the roof area of the Study Center (SVZ) is provided with a simple intensive green roof. The aim is to visually interpose the roof surface of the SVZ with the future “Schiller gardens” located to the north.

Located above the ground floor of the buildings KMS and SVZ. For the construction site clearance, the laying of a piped stream through the town of Kronberg became necessary. The underground piped stream, starting from the rain overflow basin of the town of Kronberg (RÜB), is partly still on the KMS
Plot of land and is then underground in the area of the public walkway, along the Bahnhofstrasse. In addition, an above-ground stream through the town of Kronberg will be carried out in mid-2021-mid 2022, starting from the RÜB to the hotel/station forecourt parallel to the production of the KMS outdoor area planning. The height of the above-ground stream must be taken into account in making the connections accordingly. The partial demolition of the existing sidewalk and the restoration of the sidewalk after the end of the construction project (disclosure of the stream) by the city is part of the planning services.
The open space planning for the Kronberg district was already part of an urban development competition entry from the spring of 2014. Service phases 1-5 have been completed and the planning is included in the tender as a plant.
The present order comprises the basic services of the aforementioned planning services of the following service phases:
All basic services of the following service phases according to § 39 HOAI together with Appendix 11 HOAI
(a) performance phase 6 (preparation of the award);
(b) performance phase 7 (participation in the award);
c) Performance Phase 8 (Property Surveillance — Construction Supervision and Documentation).
The following basic performance Phase 5 services as set out in Appendix 11 HOAI:
(d) to update the information on the schedule;
(e) to update the execution planning during the execution of the object.
The contractor will continue to be entrusted with all necessary planning services necessary to integrate the “Kunst am Bau” into the outdoor facilities in the form of up to 3 works of art.
The client is conducting a competition “Kunst am Bau”, on the basis of which artistic contributions to the outdoor facilities are to be won. The contractor undertakes to integrate the works of art awarded to the contract into external planning in accordance with a list of interfaces. In addition, the contractor will take over all necessary basic services in the service phases 1 to 8 of Section 39 of the Court of HO.
