The Verbandsgemeinde of Rhein-Selz is planning to award project management services for the new construction of the indoor swimming pool in Oppenheim.

A brief information on the project, the key performance points of the tendered services and the handling of the procurement procedure is presented in the annexes, in particular in the attached service description Annex 10.

In January 2022, the Verbandsgemeinde rhein-Selz awarded the planning services for the specialist disciplines of object planning buildings, structural design, outdoor facilities, engineering services technical equipment and outdoor facility planning for the new construction of the indoor swimming pool after a Europe-wide tender.

Oppenheim is a municipality in the Verbandsgemeinde of Rhein-Selz, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

The planning services of object planning, structural design and technical building equipment have already begun.

The work phases 1 basic determination and 2 preliminary planning have already been completed.

Currently, the project is in the work phase 3 "Design Planning" which should be completed by the end of July 2022.

After that, the grant application should be submitted. According to the preliminary cost estimate, the expected net construction costs (KG 200 to 600) for the new building amount to a total of approx. EUR 11,529,180.00 million net.

The Verbandsgemeinde of Rhein-Selz does not have the necessary personnel capacities to further manage this project. Therefore, the use of project control is planned. In this way, the overall measure is to be coordinated up to commissioning, the planning and construction services are to be monitored and the scheduling is to be controlled and controlled.

The project management services to be provided are based on the performance profile of issue 9 AHO "Project Management in the Construction and Real Estate Industry" (as of March 2020 project stages II to V).

An appropriate presence of the project manager must be provided.

A gradual assignment is intended.

The subject matter of the contract is also the services of project controlling, as described in particular in the service description (Annex 10 with visualization) as well as in the service profiles of the project management contract.

The project management should perform delegable tasks and interests of the client in relation to the different planners. Original client decisions are reserved for the client's committees. The details are regulated in the draft contract. The main task of project management is therefore to ensure that the technical, legal and economic goals of the client are achieved by coordinating the different services in the planning periods. The specifications and requirements of Project Management Jülich must be observed. In cooperation with the client, the project management should check the requirements for the quality of the project described in the service description in technical, temporal and financial terms and ensure their compliance.

Tasks of the project controller are in particular:
