The task is to set up a STEM excellence school with boarding school for high school students in the former Japanese school in Bad Saulgau.

The historic renovation and restructuring of the existing buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries includes roof renovation and facade renovation with energy improvements, renovation and remodeling inside the building, creating barrier-free and preventive structural fire protection, as well as dismantling and rebuilding the house installation.

The existing buildings north and south construction offer a NUF of approx. 3 500 m 2nd . Office buildings for management and administration, teaching staff and social pedagogues, the classrooms without scientific specialist rooms, the food supply and the necessary ancillary rooms are to be housed in the listed buildings with high, partly representative rooms.

The polluted extension building with the previous specialist rooms and a NUF of 776 m 2nd is to be canceled.

The building costs are approx. EUR 11.6 million excluding VAT.

A feasibility study was carried out in advance for the accommodation of the STEM excellence school.

Construction is scheduled to take place from October 2022 to May 2026.

Architectural services according to Part 3, Section 1 HOAI for Mint-Excellence School Bad Saulgau, renovation and restructuring of the existing buildings, basic services of service phases 2-8 and special services of service phases 8 and 9.
