The municipality of Askola is looking for regional contractors for the cleaning and maintenance of roads and pedestrian and bicycle routes and squares for the summer and winter seasons. The area contract includes, for example, snow plowing of roads and light traffic routes in winter, prevention of slipperiness, etc. tasks and in the summer maintenance of road and pedestrian and bicycle lanes, e.g. mowing of the edges. The more detailed content of the regional contract is included in the contract programme. The areas related to regional contracting are divided into five separate sub-areas, which are presented with maps in the tender documents.

The service provider may offer a regional contract for one, several or all aspects of the regional contract. A regional contract may include either one subdivision, more than one subdivision or all sub-areas. The contract is fixed-term between 6.10.2022 and 30.9.2026. The agreement may include two (2) one (1) year option periods (1.10.2026–30.9.2027 and 1.10.2027–30.9.2028). The final start time of the contract is agreed in the regional contract between the client and the service provider (regional contractor).

The basis for comparison of the contract is the total contract price offered per sub-area of the regional contract. Tenders must be submitted using the client's offer form attached to the request for quotation. On the tender form, the tenderer must indicate yes after the word x in the sub-area if the tenderer objects and fill in all the requested prices in that section of the tender form. If the bidder does not offer a sub-area, the section must be marked with no after the word x, and then the price form for the subdivision does not need to be filled in. The service provider/regional contractor for a sub-area of a regional contract is selected as the eligible tenderer offering the lowest total contract price.
