The task concerns the renovation of part of the outlet line from Bistrup Wastewater Treatment Plant. The outlet line runs from Bistrup to Øresund, and it is the first 2,541 km that are leaking and need to be renovated. The mentioned pipeline section dates from 1975 and runs from Bistrup Wastewater Treatment Plant to Holte Station through Furesø and Vejlesø. The renovation is to be carried out as excavation-free renovation.

The renovation work and its planning requires a number of feasibility studies to be carried out in collaboration between Novafos, Sweco and the contractor. As the feasibility studies and planning have not yet been carried out, there is a small risk that the feasibility studies will show that the renovation cannot be carried out as expected.
