The tender concerns the purchase of direct water-cooled (DWC) calculation machines with a total of at least 11,000 cores, and associated networking, support and a rented CDU. The purchase will contribute to an expansion of the capacity of the Client's GenonmeDK high-performance computing facility.

The client has previously acquired a GenomeDK high-performance computing facility. With this tender, the Contracting Authority wishes to expand the capacity of the plant with new direct water-cooled calculation machines ("compute nodes") containing a minimum of 11,000 cores. The extension will be connected via a fast Infiniband network, which is also included in the present tender. In addition, the tender also includes the rental of a suitable CDU, which the Contracting Entity may choose to make use of. The entire solution must be delivered assembled and tested at Aarhus University no later than 1 October 2023, but preferably as soon as possible. All hardware must also be covered by a 5-year warranty.
