The subject of service provision is the distribution of self-test kits for the school and daycare sector (hereinafter facilities) in the district of Munich. Around 500 school and day care facilities are available in the district of Munich. Teachers and students are eligible to participate in schools. In care facilities, the care personnel are eligible to participate, but not the supervised children. The smooth and rapid distribution of self-test kits to the facilities is up to district administrative authorities. This contract instructs the contractor to store the self-test kits handed over to him, to take over the distribution to the facilities, organize the distribution and document them professionally. The monthly demand is currently estimated at 450,000 — 550,000 tests. The estimate is based on two tests per week for each student. If the number of tests per week increases to three, there is a monthly demand of 675,000 — 825,000. The previous estimate takes into account the self-test kits used in the 2020/21 school year. Pooling test kits may also be used in primary schools from the school year 2021/2022.
