Construction of roads, cycle paths, bus lane, bus platforms, squares and green zone at the level of roof slab underground parking and tunnel, Zandstraat, roundabout Panorama and Vanden Peereboomlaan

The contract that is the subject of these specifications constitutes an 'occasional joint contract' within the meaning of Article 48 of the Law of 17 June 2016 on Public Procurement, whereby SNCB acts as contracting authority under the cooperation agreement between SNCB, the City of Kortrijk, the Flemish Region (Agency for Roads & Traffic), Vlaamse Vervoermaatschappij De Lijn, Infrabel dd. 14-10-2014 concerning the redevelopment of the station area of Kortrijk.

The contract is a public works contract within the meaning of article 2, 18 ° of the Public Procurement Act.

The assignment mainly consists of: the realization of the environmental and square construction in the zone between the Magdalenastraat, the conservatory square and the tracks. Including the realization of the branches on the R36 and construction of small-scale materials at the already constructed roundabout R36/N43 (Panorama roundabout) and the road works in the Pereboomlaan /Kongoweg. The works must be carried out with caution because these works are carried out above the already realized underground car park and tunnel that must be safeguarded at all times.

The works are part of a large project for the Kortrijk Station area. The subject-matter of the contract is further described in this particular specification and in the other contract documents.
