The framework agreement concerns the execution of groundwork and maintenance in the form of machine/groundwork in connection with the municipality's buildings, facilities and infrastructure with technical operation and maintenance.

Groundwork/maintenance work means i.a. work related to the operation and maintenance of the existing buildings, repair of external W&S pipes in the event of a rupture etc.

The framework agreement also includes asphalt and binder course with prices per ton. The Contracting Authority is not obliged to purchase materials through this agreement, and may choose to purchase materials elsewhere than through the tenderer's framework agreement when this is more suitable.

All the assignments shall be carried out in cooperation with Bergen og Omland havnevesenet's port operation administraton department (hereafter the contracting authority).

Most of the properties make up approx. 45 buildings/properties situated in the central port area in Bergen, in addition to the port authority's building in Nøstegaten 30. See Annex 1a for an overview of the Contracting Authority's buildings.

The contracting authority reserves the right to hold separate competitions for major and/or special assignments.
