The services to be awarded relate to the schedule of the following lines:

— RE3 Stralsund/Schwedt — Angermünde — Berlin — Jüterbog — Lutherstadt Wittenberg/Halle,

— RE4 Stendal — Rathenow — Berlin — Jüterbog — Falkenberg/Elster,

— RE5 Rostock/Stralsund — Neustrelitz — Berlin — Ludwigsfelde,

— RE5C Berlin — Neustrelitz — Stralsund

The services thus comprise approximately 11.50 million train km p.a.

On 10.05.21, the contracting authorities corrected the prior information for public service contracts published on 08.05.20 and mentioned under point IV.2.1) in accordance with Article 7.2 of Regulation 1370/2007 under the No. in the OJ: 2021/S 090-234372. Insofar as the content of this announcement differs from the content of the publication of the prior information for public service contracts in its last corrected version, it is also a correction of the publication within the meaning of Article 7 (2) third subparagraph of Regulation (EC) 1370/2007.

Lot 1

The services to be awarded in lot 1 include the RE3 Stralsund/Schwedt — Angermünde — Berlin — Jüterbog — Lutherstadt Wittenberg/Halle for the period from the timetable change in December 2026 to the timetable change in December 2038, with a total volume of approximately 4.05 million train km p.a.

With regard to the state of Berlin, the award is subject to the availability of the required budget at the planned amount (general budget reservation). The budget reservation is based in particular on the long duration of the procurement procedure, which is contrary to safeguarding the necessary budgetary resources at the time of the invitation to tender. Applicants will receive a separate notification as soon as the general budget reservation has been lifted. If the required budget resources are not available at the planned amount, task holders reserve the right to cancel the procurement procedure in accordance with § 63 paragraph 1 sentence 1 of the VgV. Applicants' costs and expenses related to their participation in the award procedure will not be reimbursed in this case.

The procurement of the public service contract is carried out by means of a competitive award procedure in accordance with Art. 5 Para. 3 VO (EG) No. 1370/2007 i. V. m. Section 131 (1) sentence 1 GWB in the form of an open procedure pursuant to Section 119 (3) GWB, Section 15 VgV.

Hints:

Under the conditions specified in the tender documents, the clients assume the risk of reusing vehicles after the expiry of the transport contract (promise of reuse of vehicles).

Lot 2

The services to be awarded in lot 2 include the RE4 Stendal — Rathenow — Berlin — Jüterbog — Falkenberg/Elster line for the period from the timetable change in December 2026 to the timetable change in December 2038 with a total volume of approximately 3.04 million train km p.a.
