The Committee of the Regions intends to enter into a framework contract for building completion works (painting, partitioning, joinery, floor-covering, etc.) and roof and facade work (repair and replacement of sealing, facade cleaning, etc.), using environmentally friendly products and materials, in current or future buildings of the Committee of the Regions and the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels or the surrounding area.
For information purposes and without being in any way binding on the Committee, the planned works would be the following, in a building stock currently comprising 6 buildings with a total surface area of approximately 120 000 m
— maintenance of walls, floors and ceilings in buildings, which may require between 2 and 3 labourers for completion works (painting, partitioning, false ceilings, covering floors with carpets, etc.),
— replacement of false ceilings,
— as part of internal relocations, plasterboard partitions and their removal or movable partitions,
— floor coverings to be replaced due to wear (linoleum, wall-to-wall floor covering, tiles, etc.),
— sanding of parquet,
— joinery (wood or metal) and window projects are required for comfort, ergonomic or security reasons,
— on average, 3 to 4 major internal development projects per year are to be envisaged, involving painting, partitioning and floor-covering works,
— maintenance and replacement of sealing on flat roofs,
— facade cleaning + application of a water repellent,
— replacement of damaged doors,
— masonry work,
— supply and installation of damaged windows,
— all types of emergency call-out following damage,
— any type of necessary and specific works to ensure ensure the buildings' sound management and correct maintenance.
