The project includes construction works for a new road connection over Sifjorden. The masses shall be blasted and transported from a side gravel pit at the farther end of fjord and be deposited in the sea filling. The first layer of masses shall be deposited by using seagoing equipment to contour line — 20 metres. The remaining masses shall be deposited by using on shore excavators Masses shall be deposited from both sides of the fjord due to the construction of a 45 metres bridge in the middle of the fjord. The bridge construction works are not included in this tender contest.
The current road from the side gravel pit up to Sifjord shall be upgraded. The sea filling over the fjord shall be concluded by a levelling course above the subbase.
