The material on the mountain area Haldi shall be replaced in the summer season 2016 along the conventional fence between Norway and Finland, over a stretch of 3 100 m. The stretch is 3 100 m and it currently consists of netting with 4 top wires of galvanised corrugated wire.

The netting shall be rolled up and transported to a certified landfill site, the same applies to corrugated wire that cannot be used.

The stretch shall have corrugated wire at 10 heights with 15-20 cm between them.

Post fastenings that are bent/broken or which do not fasten satisfactorily shall be removed and the post shall be put in the ground to a depth of approx. 50 cm, possibly cemented to stone equivalent to 50 cm. Uprights must be added to the posts in areas with rock.

300 posts shall be transported in, which are to be used to replace posts that are broken and the set-up for uprights. 128 bt corrugated wire shall be transported in as well as 11,000 4“ nails.

All fence material, including post fastenings that are replaced, and which cannot be used, is to be seen as rubbish and transported to a certified landfill site.
