Grinding work Nuremberg subway 2024-2025 (reprofiling of tracks and switches)

Grinding work is to be carried out in the entire subway track network of Nuremberg (Nuremberg and Fürth).

Approximately 28,000 meters of track and up to 5 switches are processed annually.

In individual areas (R<150 m; length approx. 500 m), an asymmetrical profile (including transitions) must be sanded in accordance with the guidelines for superstructure work of Nuremberg.
