The procurement will focus on the purchase of an aircraft and its crew for the needs of measurement operations. This is a traficom-supervised operation, which Fintraffic Lennonvarmistus Oy produces for its flight station customers.

During the measurement flights, aviation-related navigational equipment and radio radar and surveillance systems are maintained. In the case of measuring flights, approaches, radials or circumferences are flown with high accuracy and the signals received are registered, as well as the aerodrome of the machine in a computer system permanently installed on the measuring machine

The aircraft and its crew shall be reserved primarily for the customer's measurement flight tasks during the measurement periods. The measurement periods shall be determined on whole working days according to the maintenance times and other operations announced in advance by the candidate. The timetables for the measurement work shall be established in such a way that the maximum working hours of one crew according to the settlement of EU No 965/2012 (AOC) are sufficient to carry out the tasks.
