HUS invites tenders for endoscopy supplies. The acquisition includes two (2) areas: endoscopy, stenting, esophagus, proximal and distal release, and endoscopy, bile duct stent applicator. These areas are described in more detail later in this call for tenders and in Annex 3 thereto. Offer form. The aim of the tendering process is to include safe, effective and easy-to-use endoscopy supplies. The aim of competitive tendering is also to ensure that the delivery reliability of products is good and that products are available when they are needed.

INFORMATION ON JOINT PROCUREMENT

This is a joint procurement of several contracting entities. The products requested in this invitation to tender will be used by the units of the joint municipal authority of the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa, HUS member municipalities and cities (incl. Espoo New Hospital, excluding the City of Espoo), Kymsote (Kymenlaakso Joint Authority for Social and Health Services) and PHHYKY (Päijät-Häme Joint Authority for Wellbeing). For details, see Annex 4 to the invitation to tender. The parties involved in this invitation to tender are hereinafter referred to as the "Subscriber".

Earlier in this announcement, section I.2 Joint Procurement, is ticked for technical reasons, the point 'At a joint contracting entity shall be concluded by the contracting entity, 'however, it is a joint procurement/procurement ring of more contracting entities. HUS contracts on behalf of all organizations involved in the joint acquisition.

CONTRACT PERIOD AND SCOPE

The agreement is valid for a fixed term of two (2) years, after which it is valid until further notice. A party may terminate an open-ended contract in writing with six (6) months' notice.

The estimated total value of the procurement (VAT 0%) is approximately EUR 500,000, divided as follows: HUS 90%, Kymsote approximately 5% and PHHYKY approximately 5%.

These are estimates and the contracting entity does not commit to the amounts in euros indicated and the estimated consumption volumes indicated in the invitation to tender. The final order quantities may be higher or lower than stated.

The subject-matter of the contract also includes additional products related to the products offered, such as additional sizes, additional products and other accessories, given to the tab "Additional products" in Annex 3, as well as products belonging to the categories of products covered by the contract in accordance with the estimated value of the procurement and not identified in the product annex (see draft agreement). Additional products include products that belong to endoscopy supplies. Additional products are voluntary for the provider to offer. For the client, this is an additional purchase opportunity. Additional products are not compared, but are included in the assortments as needed from future contract suppliers. The subscriber can select products identified as additional products to the contract from the selections of the selected providers. Additional products can be procured according to the draft contract, the quantities required during the contract period and the estimated value of the procurement. Additional products shall be agreed separately with the successful tenderer at the time of signing the contract.

The item to be purchased also includes similar items not mentioned in the price sheet, which can be purchased according to the draft contract, the quantities needed during the contract period and the estimated value of the purchase.

The Agreement does not create an exclusive right of distribution for the Supplier. During the contract period, endoscopy supplies can also be procured from suppliers other than the selected ones. In addition, products can be ordered, for example, for research use or experimentation.
