Preparation of the design documentation at the STEŚ-R stage together with materials to obtain the Environmental Protection Permit and the DP for the project entitled: Construction of the S17 expressway Piaski-Hrebenne, implementation section No. 10: Hrebenne (from km 233+435 to the Hrebenne Terminal- Rawa Ruska)

The subject of the contract is the development of project documentation at the stage of the Technical, Economic and Environmental Study with elements of the Program Concept (STEŚ-R) together with materials for obtaining a decision on environmental conditions and Tender Documents for the project entitled:

Construction of the S17 expressway Piaski-Hrebenne, implementation section No. 10: Hrebenne (from km 233+435 to the Hrebenne Terminal-Rawa Ruska)

The Project Documentation which is the subject of the contract consists of, among others:

from the following design studies (or teams of design studies):

- materials for information meetings with the public

- studies in the field of traffic analysis and forecasting,

- geodetic and cartographic studies for the purposes of road design

(map for design purposes),

- geological, hydrogeological and geotechnical studies,

- environmental studies,

- materials for road safety assessment and audit,

- economic and financial studies,

- technical studies, with design solutions in the field of road, bridge and associated industries,

- tender documents, WWiORB, specifications,

- responding at the stage of the tendering procedure.

STEŚ-R is a two-stage design development:

- the first stage of a general nature;

- the second stage, which is a refinement of the solutions developed in the first stage.

The purpose of the study is:

In the first stage:

- initial determination of the material and financial scope of the project

and to determine its effectiveness,

- determination of route variants and final determination of the types and basic technical parameters of construction objects,

- providing information for making a preliminary investment decision on the purposefulness, scope and time horizon of the investment task,

- enabling the obtaining of a decision on environmental conditions,

In the second stage:

- clarification of the material and financial scope consisting in determining detailed geometrical solutions of roads, road structures of engineering structures, land boundaries of the investment task and bill of quantities and their cost estimate for key elements of the project,

- defining guidelines for the construction project,

- performing a multi-criteria analysis enabling the Contracting Authority to select the most advantageous technical variants for further implementation.

After executing the above design documentation in Phase III of the contract, the contractor will prepare the tender materials necessary for the tendering procedure for the execution of works in the “Design and Build” system. Phase IV shall include replying at the stage of the tendering procedure to the works contractor and possible modifications of the design documentation developed by the contractor.
